1689 Baptist
We are a Reformed Baptist church. We confess the Second London Baptist Confession of 1689 — Scripture as our final authority, and a historic faith lived in Suva today.

Our services are gospel-centred and rooted in Scripture, welcoming anyone who wants to learn more about Christ and the Christian faith.
We celebrate Communion every Sunday. Baptized believers who trust in Christ are welcome to participate.
We are founded on the Gospel and centred on covenant life in Christ — a church that belongs to one another, not a crowd that happens to sit in the same room.
There is a children's ministry during the service, and families are also encouraged to keep their children in the gathering with the rest of the church family.

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.” 2 Timothy 3:16
God made all things — including you — for His glory. He is perfectly holy and righteous, and every person will one day stand before Him.
“Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!” Isaiah 6:3
Every one of us has broken God's law — in what we've done, said, and loved. Sin separates us from God, and its wage is death.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
God sent His Son. Jesus lived the perfect life we could not live, died on the cross bearing the punishment sinners deserve, and rose bodily from the grave.
“For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:21
God commands all people everywhere to repent — to turn from sin — and to trust in Jesus Christ alone. Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” Acts 16:31
